Description

Have your students create a collaborative poster and learn about Virginia Woolf in a new and engaging way! This interactive project invites students to research the influential modernist writer and showcase their findings through a creative, hands-on author biography poster. Students will explore Virginia Woolf’s life, her groundbreaking literary works, and her lasting impact on literature while developing collaboration and communication skills.

Working in small groups, students will research Virginia Woolf, record their discoveries in the designated sections of the poster, and color or paint each piece to bring their project to life. When the six pages are taped together, they form a cohesive and visually appealing poster. The final display measures approximately 28" x 15", can be printed on regular copy paper or cardstock, and will last for years if laminated.

This resource includes student directions, a project rubric, a graphic organizer, six blank coloring pages that combine into one complete poster, a Virginia Woolf answer key, and a fully completed example showing both text and color.

This collaborative author study makes a wonderful addition to any unit on modernism, women in literature, or Woolf’s works such as Mrs. Dalloway or A Room of One’s Own!
