Description

Have your students create a collaborative poster and learn about T.S. Eliot in a new and engaging way! This creative project invites students to explore the life, works, and legacy of one of modernism’s most influential poets through a hands-on, collaborative activity. Students will research T.S. Eliot’s biography, major works, and lasting impact on literature while developing important teamwork and communication skills.

Working together, students will research T.S. Eliot, record their findings in the designated sections of the poster, and color each piece to bring the project to life. Once the six pages are taped together, the completed display forms a cohesive and visually striking poster. The final product measures approximately 28" x 15", can be printed on regular copy paper or cardstock, and will last for years if laminated.

This resource includes step-by-step student directions, an author study project rubric, a graphic organizer, six blank coloring pages that combine into one complete poster, a T.S. Eliot answer key, and a fully completed example showing both text and color.

This collaborative author study is an excellent addition to any poetry or British literature unit, helping students connect with The Waste Land, The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock, and other timeless works.
