Have your students create a collaborative poster and learn about Ralph Ellison in a new and engaging way! This creative project invites students to explore the life, works, and cultural legacy of one of America’s most influential authors through a hands-on, collaborative activity. Students will research Ralph Ellison’s biography, major works, and impact on American literature and identity while developing essential teamwork and communication skills.
Working together, students will research Ralph Ellison, record their findings in the designated sections of the poster, and color each piece to bring the project to life. Once the six pages are taped together, the completed display forms a cohesive and visually striking poster. The final product measures approximately 28" × 15", can be printed on regular copy paper or cardstock, and will last for years if laminated.
