This Character Collabs project is the perfect addition to your novel study of Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare.

In this engaging and collaborative activity, students will analyze the following 8 characters:

(1) Calpurnia
(2) Cicero
(3) Cassius
(4) Julius Caesar
(5) Marcus Brutus
(6) Mark Antony
(7) Octavius Caesar
(8) Portia

Students’ final work is displayed as a large collaborative poster that makes literary analysis both creative and memorable.

This hands-on project helps boost comprehension, retention, close reading, teamwork, and critical thinking skills while keeping students actively engaged throughout the novel study.

Each group will work together to analyze an assigned character using multiple methods of characterization and textual evidence. Students will then transfer their findings onto the poster template, collaborate to color the pieces, and assemble the final product into an eye-catching classroom display.

Each completed poster is made up of six pages and can be printed on either regular copy paper or card stock. Once assembled, each poster measures approximately 28" x 15".
