Description

Have your students create a collaborative poster and learn about Elie Wiesel in a new and engaging way! This project encourages students to explore the life and legacy of the Nobel Peace Prize–winning author and humanitarian through a creative, hands-on activity. By researching Wiesel’s biography and contributions, students will gain a deeper understanding of his impact on literature, history, and human rights while also developing teamwork and communication skills.

Working in small groups, students will research Elie Wiesel, record their findings in the designated sections of the poster, and color or paint each piece to bring their project to life. Once the six pages are taped together, they will form a cohesive and visually striking display. The final product measures 28" x 15", can be printed on regular copy paper or cardstock, and will last for years if laminated.

This resource includes step-by-step student directions, an author study project rubric, a graphic organizer, six blank coloring pages that combine into one complete poster, an Elie Wiesel author study answer key, and a fully completed example showing both text and color.

This collaborative author study is a perfect addition to any novel study from Night to Wiesel’s other works, offering students a meaningful way to connect with his message of remembrance and resilience.
