Have your students analyze characters from Shakespeare’s play A Midsummer Night’s Dream in a fun and engaging way: Character Collabs!
Your students will use several characterization methods to depict each character’s profile, demonstrate their understanding of the literature, and present their final work on a beautiful poster.
Students will engage with the text on a deeper level, encouraging them to think critically, make inferences, and foster empathy. They will also learn the importance of collaboration and effective communication.
The nine characters included in this resource are:
Bottom, Demetrius, Helena, Oberon, Puck, Theseus, Hermia, Titania, and Lysander.
Project Steps:
Students will work in groups to analyze their assigned character, transfer their findings to the poster boxes, color each section together, and assemble the final poster.
Each poster is composed of six pieces of paper, which can be printed on regular copy paper or card stock. Once assembled, the completed poster measures 28" x 15".
