Description
Create a meaningful, collaborative learning experience with this Rosa Parks Biography Poster Project.
Students will explore Rosa Parks’s courageous stand against segregation, her role in the civil rights movement, and her lasting influence as a symbol of equality and resistance.
As they work together, they’ll also build teamwork and communication skills while contributing to a shared final poster.
This project is a powerful addition to Black History Month or any social studies unit that highlights justice, activism, and social change.
Students begin by researching Rosa Parks and gathering information about her background, accomplishments, and contributions to history.
They then record their findings in the guided sections on the poster before coloring, painting, or assembling the finished design.
The completed poster is made of six pieces that can be printed on regular paper or cardstock.
Once assembled, it measures approximately 28" x 15".
For long-term classroom use, you can laminate the final product.
