Description
Have your students create a collaborative poster and learn about Roberto Clemente in a fun, fresh, and engaging way! This hands-on project encourages students to explore Clemente’s inspiring life and achievements while promoting teamwork and effective communication as they work together toward a shared goal.
Students will research Roberto Clemente and demonstrate their understanding of his impact as both an athlete and humanitarian by creating a vibrant biography poster. They’ll begin by conducting research and gathering key facts about Clemente’s life, accomplishments, and legacy. Next, they’ll record their findings in the designated boxes, then color or paint and assemble the six-piece poster. Once taped together, the final product measures approximately 28" x 15" and can be printed on regular paper or cardstock. For lasting display, the completed poster can be laminated.
This resource includes student directions, a project rubric, and a brainstorm graphic organizer (all provided in both PDF and editable Word document formats). It also includes six blank coloring pages that come together to form one cohesive poster, a Roberto Clemente answer key, and an example of the final project.
