Description
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. wrote Letter from Birmingham Jail while imprisoned for leading nonviolent civil rights demonstrations in Alabama in 1963. He wrote this letter in response to criticism from white religious leaders who opposed his civil rights campaign. This activity is a powerful way for students to connect with significant events during Black History Month.
Students should first read the letter written by MLK; then they can use this 360° digital escape room as review and reading comprehension practice.
