Description
Have your students analyze characters from any story, novel, or play in a creative and collaborative way with Character Collabs!
Your students will explore character development, motivation, and relationships while working together to complete a visually stunning poster. This project combines literary analysis with artistic expression, making it the perfect hands-on activity for any ELA classroom.
Students will use several methods of characterization to depict their chosen character’s personality, traits, and role in the text. Through collaboration and discussion, they’ll deepen their understanding of literature while learning the importance of teamwork and communication.
Each poster is made up of six pieces of paper, which can be printed on regular copy paper or card stock. Once taped together, the final product measures 28" x 15" and makes a beautiful classroom display when laminated!
This project can be used with any novel, short story, or play—simply assign each group a different character from your current unit.
