Description
Parts of Speech Fall & Thanksgiving Coloring Activity includes three different levels of parts of speech practice—with coloring guides—to create engaging, colorful student artwork while reinforcing essential grammar skills.
Students identify the eight parts of speech in fall-themed sentences and use their answers to color fun, pop-art style images. Teachers and students can choose from 10 Autumn/Thanksgiving-themed designs, including pumpkin, acorn, pilgrim hat, turkey (animal), cooked turkey dinner, scalloped leaf, classic leaf, apple, pie and mitten, and corn on the cob. Students may complete one image or as many as you’d like, making this activity flexible for any schedule.
Student Learning Objective: Students will accurately recognize and distinguish nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, pronouns, interjections, conjunctions, and prepositions within sentences.
Differentiated Instruction: Coloring guides are provided at easy, medium, and hard levels, allowing you to easily tailor the activity based on grade level or student ability.
This is a fun, low-prep way to reinforce parts of speech while keeping students engaged during the fall and Thanksgiving season. Answer keys are included.
