Description
This Christmas and Winter Coloring Activity includes three different levels of parts of speech practice paired with coloring guides that allow students to create beautiful, festive artwork while reinforcing grammar skills.
Students will identify the eight parts of speech using Christmas-themed sentences and then apply their answers to color engaging Pop Art–style images. This hands-on approach keeps students focused, motivated, and actively learning while practicing essential grammar concepts.
Teachers and students may choose from twelve different winter holiday images, including a Christmas tree, candy cane, stocking, Christmas gift, snowman, gingerbread man, Santa Claus, reindeer, ice skate, Christmas ornaments, holiday wreath, and holiday bells. Students can color one image or multiple images, making this activity flexible for bell ringers, centers, early finishers, or full lessons.

Students will correctly recognize and distinguish nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, conjunctions, prepositions, and interjections within sentences.
